Abstract
|
|
|
The author measured the amount of gold alloy employed in ´the restoration of tooth by crown and bridge work.
The results were as follows:
1) The mean amount of gold alloy employed in first premolars was 2.060±0.48^(g) and in second premolars was 2.15±0.52^(g).
2) The mean amount of gold alloy employed in first molars was 2.96±0.53^(g) and second molar was 2.80±0.47^(g) .
3) The mean amount of gold alloy employed in 3 unit bridge construction (abutment-second premolars, second molars, pontic-first molars) was 7.68±1.28^(g).
